Karen cares about our community.  Karen moved from Tenafly, New Jersey to Virginia Beach 49 years ago. She was raised here in Hampton Roads, attending the Virginia Beach Public Schools, St. Mary's Junior College (high school division) in Raleigh, NC and The College of William and Mary. Karen and her husband Buster, who is a Circuit Court Judge in Virginia Beach, raised their three children in the public school system, and Karen was an active member of the Virginia Beach School Board at the time they were attending. She has been a docent with the Virginia Beach Court System for fifteen years, is active in her church, Eastern Shore Chapel, and serves on the Neptune Festival Auxiliary Board. Karen and her husband currently reside in the Broad Bay Point Greens neighborhood in Virginia Beach.
